Maple Mountain Madness is a 3.4-Mile trail race and 1-mile family fun walk. Both events take place on the breathtaking 800-acre Madava Farms property in rural Dutchess County.

The trail race is scenic and rugged, featuring several challenging climbs (watch out for the Beaver's Revenge), and lovely views of ponds and distant mountains. This is recommended only for runners or otherwise fit individuals. 

The family fun walk is a friendly, non-competitive walk around the road loop at the front of the farm property. This is appropriate for families and people of all ages and fitness levels.

Theme
The run is a celebration of maple syrup, and is the only such race in all the Hudson Valley. Theme appropriate costuming is encouraged!

What You Get
In addition to the race, each participant will get great post-run pancake breakfast, a commemorative travel coffee mug, and a post-run beer (to all those 21 & older) from a local brewery. Soft drinks will be provided to those under the age of 21.


Check-in/Start
Check-in begins at 8:30am at Madava Farms Sugarhouse.  The race goes off at 10:30am,
and is followed by a post-race on the lawn on front of the sugarhouse.

Parking
All parking is on the big lawn in front of the sugarhouse. Look for signs and parking volunteers as you come in on the main entrance road to the property.

Overall and Age Category winners will receive a bottle of Crown Maple Syrup.

Cancellations
We regret that we are unable to offer refunds of registration fees. If you wish, you may transfer your registration to another runner by contacting the race director.
